Sneak Peek Saturday
with musician Becki Davis
Summer 2024

From a dedicated public servant to a soul-stirring folk singer-songwriter, Becki's music and musings explore the transformative power of introspection and honoring one’s true self. With a voice that's both powerful and tender, Becki takes inspiration from the emotional honesty of artists like Kacey Musgraves and Brandi Carlile, beautifully coloring the stories she tells with genuine feeling.
As part of her music project, The Four26, Becki played nearly 100 shows a year from 2018-2023, including opening for the Spin Doctors, headlining sold-out events, and playing iconic NYC music venues like The Bitter End. Her song "Highest Ground" received an Honorable Mention in the Indie International Songwriting Network contest and her song “Shift” received airplay in the greater NYC area. Becki's currently in the studio recording new music to share with her fellow soul seekers throughout the year, promising a steady stream of heartfelt songs that will serve as a sanctuary for contemporary contemplatives.
Beyond her music, Becki extends her exploration of spirituality and personal growth through her role as a podcast host and blogger. These platforms allow her to delve deeper into second-half-of-life themes of transformation, authenticity, and the human spirit and offer listeners additional companionship on the further journey.

His children’s books have been called “brilliant” by Dave Pilkey, "thrillingly shameless" by the New York Times, "guaranteed to fuel read aloud energy" by Publisher's Weekly and have won awards and distinctions such as the Virginia Reader’s Choice Award (YOU MUST BE THIS TALL), YALSA Reader’s Choice (TO TIMBUKTU), the Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection (ASTRONUTS: MISSION ONE and THE MIDDLE KID), The Today Show’s Holiday Pick (BIG JOB SERIES), and Parents Magazine Best Children’s Book 2021 (WASHER & DRYER’S BIG JOB).
The fish have been featured on the cover of Thomas McGuane’s fly fishing classic THE LONGEST SILENCE, on West Kill Brewing’s “Brookie” lager, in Gray’s Sporting Journal, and are on display at Jimmy Kimmel’s fishing resort The South Fork Lodge.
Along with his wife Casey Scieszka, he owns and operates the Spruceton Inn: a Catskills Bed and Bar. Their annual Artist Residency has hosted more than 100 artists and counting.

Winter Solstice art show
with photography by Holly Cohen
Winter 2022

Holly is passionate about exploring the natural world and all that surrounds us. Through photography she shares her innate artistry and vision of the world, challenging us to expand our notion of what is beautiful.
Often spotted hiking into the wilderness, she documents the splendor of what she encounters, from the distant outline of a mountain range to the tiny petals of a wildflower.
Holly's background is in literature, calligraphy, and publishing. She worked for years in independant bookstores. As a writer and editor, she contributed to several publications including: The World Encyclopedia of Calligraphy, which she co-edited with Cristopher Calderhead; 100 New York Calligraphers, by Cynthia Dantzic, featuring Holly's calligraphy; and Letter arts Review, providing articles, interviews, and photo essays.
Above all, Holly's biggest inspiration is her love of animals. As well as photographing them, she allocates time to helping rescues. In Fall of 2023, she (and her cat, Smokey) fulfilled a life dream and adopted two rescue donkeys, Cookie and Lilly. Cookie, Lilly and Smokey often appear in her photos.
